FOREVER PLAID - June 20th thru August 24th

by Stuart Ross and James Riatt

This hit musical revue is about the delightfully goofy reincarnation of four male

singers. They were on their way to their first big concert when fate dealt them

a blow. But now they're back with four part harmonies and right-on patter that

will keep you either laughing or humming along to some of the great

nostalgic hits of the 50's.   "It's great  to be Plaid!"

long-running television show. Felix Ungar and Oscar Madison, eternally

locked in the battle of "Sloppy and the Neat-freak continue

2009 Season

Chapter Two                         by Neil Simon                        Jan. 30-April 5

This hit Broadway comedy mixes laughter with tribulations as only Neil Simon can. What makes it all the more special is that it is based on the author’s own life! Picking up the pieces can be awkward. Especially when your over-enthusiastic brother decides to play matchmaker with disastrous results. It’s a whimsical, touching, and very funny look at starting over.                                              “…downright funny!”—New York Post

Lend Me A Tenor              by Ken Ludwig                               April 17-June 21

It's a big night for the Cleveland Opera. Famed opera star, Tito Morelli is to perform. Through a series of mishaps he gets a double dose of tranquilizers. He is thought to be dead so a lowly assistant is coerced into impersonating "Il Stupendo." Of course, Tito isn't dead and we are left with a rollicking farce of mistaken identities and "who's been told what by whom!"                                                "Uproarious! Hysterical!" --USA

I Do, I Do                       Book and Lyrics by Tom Jones                   June 26-Aug. 30

Music by Harvey Schmidt   Based on The Fourposter by Jan de Hartog

The show begins with Michael and Agnes's wedding night and follows them through fifty years of marriage. This musical journey is at times blissful, often hysterical, and always entertaining. From wedding night jitters, to the first pregnancy, to mid-life crises; it's a musical handbook on the art of marriage.

"...at once amusing and truly endearing--New York Post

A Nice Family Gathering     by Phil Olson                         Sept. 11-Nov. 1

From the author of DON’T HUG ME, here’s the story of a man who loved his wife so much that he almost told her. The “dearly” departed patriarch of the Lundeen family makes a return appearance to tie up a few loose ends. The sparks and fun really start to fly when he discovers that Mom has a date for this nice family gathering!

“Family silliness…Garrison Keillor meets Topper.LA Times

Rudy’s Holidaze Reunion   by Don Hodgins           Nov. 6-Jan. 24, 2010

Marsha and Rudy decide to get the Poznarski clan together for the holidays. Marsha reluctantly agrees to let our hero Rudy handle some of the details, knowing full well with Rudy's "help" the event may very well make the Titanic look like a pleasure cruise. Add to that the "unexpected guest" effect and you are in for some holiday hilarity.

                                                                                                            "A yuletide treat!"
